Emotions aren’t just in the brain, they are also in your body! New findings by a group in Finland found that people around the world have the same bodily reactions to specific emotions, and they have created a series of heat maps that show these universal sensations.
For example, people feel anger in their head and chest, happiness throughout their body, and shame in their face. Pride is felt in the chest, while depression causes a decrease in activity in the arms and legs.
